Firstly, we would like to thank everyone who bought copies of the 2014 Calendar which the club produced last year – we are sure you will enjoy looking at the local scenes throughout the year!
After our break over Christmas we started meeting again on 6th January when the subject for the photo display was ‘Forks’ – once again we had many different interpretations including ‘4 candles’!
The Club has now been able to purchase a projector, thanks to a grant from the Community Fund and the profit made on the sale of the calendars. This will prove to be a great asset to the Club and enable us to have better demonstrations of Photoshop and other topics on how to use our cameras to better advantage.
Please do have a look at our website (details below) – it now displays many of our member’s photographs.
If you have a new camera, phone or tablet and have an interest in photography do come along and join a group of friendly amateur photo enthusiasts to enjoy a rewarding hobby as well improving your skills.
We meet fortnightly in St. Laurence Hall - next meeting 3rd March, photo display topic ‘Food’
